In early 2009, the Mark of the Beast mixtape by Beast 1333, which features and endorsed by KRS-One, was released.  Many songs were uploaded to YouTube and Myspace to allow exposure, primarily making “Mouth of Madness” track a sensation among the underground hip hop community.

Controversy sprung when unpleasant comments on YouTube by involved fans spammed on Immortal Technique and Canibus videos, as a marketing scheme to promote the artist. This alluded for many fans of Immortal Technique and Canibus to speculate a rivalry among these artists. In fact, Beast 1333 cleared the rumors on Conspiracy Worldwide Radio stating he was not behind the spamming and got to the root of the problem by addressing those individuals.  He confirmed there is no feud with Immortal Technique nor Canibus and hinted on working with them in the near future.
