Rhyme Asylum is a hip hop group from London, United Kingdom that formed in 2002. The group is composed of artists Possessed, Psiklone and Skirmish.  Rhyme Asylum can also be associated with rapper Reain (aka Whashisface), who features on several of their songs and also paired with Possessed in the JumpOff Freestyle World Rap Championships in 2006. The group have been praised for delivering ground breaking, raw lyricism.

BIO  Their recognition originates from the infamous Deal Real open mic sessions between 2004-2005. Their debut album State Of Lunacy was released in June 2008. It featured US rappers Copywrite and Diabolic, and an album cover designed by the Skam2?, who has previously designed for Eminem, D12, A Tribe Called Quest, Naughty By Nature and Ill Bill.

In 2006, Possessed and Reain (aka Whashisface) reached the finals of the JumpOff: World Rap Championships in Las Vegas battling for $10,000. Rhyme Asylum have received airplay from DJ Excalibah and Sarah Love on BBC 1Xtra (UK Spotlight), as well as Kiss FM, Conspiracy Worldwide Radio, Bang Radio, and Choice FM, to name a few. In addition, group members have freestyled live on BBC 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network, Choice FM, Conspiracy Worldwide Radio, Kiss FM, and Diesel FM. Furthermore they have performed all over the UK: London, Brighton, Southampton, Sheffield, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, and Ipswich.
