BIO  In the late 90s, Det & DJ Illegal founded the Goons and started recording with local artists from Germany. A couple of years later, they received their first contact in the United States through Virtuoso. The following two years, Det and DJ Illegal recorded and produced the German Lugers album on Babygrande Records in 2007.

Already in 2008, the next album Black Snow followed, and Sicknature was featured on “The Curse” track. Sicknature is a producer and rapper out of Denmark and already renowned on his own with productions for Ill Bill and AOTP. Also featured on the Black Snow album was J.S. Kuster with additional keys and sounds. In 2009 The Trojan Horse featured another Sicknature verse as well some productions and was released over there new founded label "Goon MuSick" which is the combination of SnowGOONs and SICKnature.

In 2010 the Snowgoons album number four titled Kraftwerk including again a who-is-who of the underground hip hop scene as well Grammy award winning Beenie Man was released again over Goon MuSick.

In 2011 was follow up with an EP from Viro The Virus called Virohazard including all new remixes by the Snowgoons. Also on Goon MuSick the long awaited album with Reef The Lost Cauze named Your Favorite MC dropped in october 2011. Just one month later in November the new M.O.P. album Sparta entirely produced by the Snowgoons released over Babygrande Records improved the hard knockin sound of the Goons and put back legendary M.O.P. on the spot. Sicknature and J.S. Kuster are officialy Snowgoons members and complete the 4 man team.

Beside productions on albums like AOTP, La Coka Nostra, Ill Bill and more in 2012 many projects expected but confirmed is just the Goondox album consist of P.M.D (EPMD), Sean Strange and the Snowgoons. Plus a German record which features especially german speaking artists.
